Like a Soft Sigh

Who knows why sunsets bring tears to my eyes, but I've cried, mesmerized, as the sun dies. Hoots from a nearby owl bid day goodbye, and Night's stars shine in an ebony sky. Luna rises when bats begin to fly while time, like a soft sigh, slowly slips by.

A soft calming monorhyme, Emile, a difficult one to write I'm sure, but you in your usual brilliant style pulled it off effortlessly. And I see in the comment below that you did win? So well deserved Super 7++

Thanks Emile for a nice entry, you have the ability to try a rhyme with higher difficulty, points score for level of difficulty also, but I always enjoy your writes, congrats on a nice placement!

A monorhyme which includes internal rhyme is not easy to write, especially when the author is intent on producing a poem with sense and feeling. In this case you come out with flying colours, Emile. Well done! ~ Regards // paul
