Listen to poem:
how i long for the sound
of summer thunderstorms
and the roar of awakened clouds
rumbling in the distance
their sound of fury
that never lasts too long
lashing out in bolts of wrath
and raging for unknown reasons
how i long for summer rain
its downpour drenching parched fields
as well as desperate thirsty souls
how i deeply long for the spectacle
of unbridled summer
ever reminiscent of my youth
