Winter Wonderland
Oh let the lovely winter soon arrive
With its sparkling blanket of pristine white.
How winter season makes me feel alive
With scarlet colored cardinals in flight.
Glory of this season enchants my sight
As twilight sees stars twinkle with moonlight.
Children laugh, building snowmen during day,
Snow ladies too with eyes of coal that glow,
Hoping that freezing snow has come to stay
So kids can form snowballs to toss in snow
At unsuspecting adults they will throw,
As snowpeople stand-by to view the show!
I love to watch the little ones have fun
Sitting on a bench amidst snow flocked trees
Feeling the warming comfort of the sun.
Children love making snow angels that please.
They play all day 'til some begin to sneeze
When prompted from a stronger colder breeze.
A snowscape of small angels from God's hand,
This is my view of winter wonderland!
