It has been quite awhile! I took some time off, and had a stroke. I am really grateful because it could have been worse. It has given me time to slow down and focus on more important things...my Lord Jesus Christ and my family and the few close friends I have. Enough about me...How are you and your family? I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please keep safe and well!

A compassionate poem adressing the need for humankind to love and care for our brothers and sisters who have found themselves out in the cold for whatever reasons. We all need to be sensitive and pro-active towards those in need. Especially in a season known for giving and love. Good luck in the contest and bless you for the spirit of kindness you display through this poem, Harry I'm following your poetry now, Bill

I am guessing that you are speaking about the homeless situation in America and around the world. Creative way to go in that situation. In some areas of America even pavements would not be warm in the winter because it is so cold there. They are saying now that homeless people are living in the remains of an old factory here and I did not even know that there were homeless people here since we have so much in place to take care of a person/s needs. Heartfelt piece my friend. It is incredible with all the wealth America and other countries have, that the poor are left in the cold to fend for themselves. I hope and pray what you have expressed here so tenderly. God bless you Harry for your caring Heart...

The world has solved so many problems—surely there are several solutions to homelessness—it is heartbreaking.

I join you in your wish my friend. It is so sad and heart wrenching watching the homeless, and especially in the Winter Months. Your few words are so sentimentally heartfelt. Kudos Harry, may you wish come true. To you and your family, A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS. Hugs Jennifer.

Hi Harry! In my part of CA, they sleep in parks in expensive tents, Weather is clement here. There are also shelters in inclement weather and much free food and clothing provided by churches, Am sure this id not international. Merry Christmas Pangie

Harry, my friend, your wishing poem filled me so deeply that it took me into a silent, reaching prayer. May your longing of compassion be heard, answered, and extend around the world. I thank you for this. Xo sally
