I watched the icicles grow, curve and shine
Clarity came with their design
They pointed sharply downward
They dripped their own tears
Formations reflected aspects of life
The hardships and the stunning light
Frozen emotions melted slowly in the sun
A winter creation, to make me wonder
Some things are clear and disappear
Visions of things last when they are gone
Winter can teach us so many things
To welcome in the burst of cold it brings
