I am a Winter child so I love snow,
it is a delight to walk with snowflakes;
I like it when the snow will dance and blow,
and how a forest icy stream still snakes !
Today, a hundred birds it seems took flight,
they were hiding in a small snow draped tree;
it was a wonderous and special sight,
such delight to see those birds filled with glee !
I would make snow angels as a young child,
and ice skate on a homemade frozen pond;
as my parents and grandma watched and smiled,
born in a snowstorm so this the love bond !
Snow wraps his cold, cold arms to caress me;
to touch my cheeks with fingers feathery !
