I am a Winter child so I love snow, it is a delight to walk with snowflakes; I like it when the snow will dance and blow, and how a forest icy stream still snakes ! Today, a hundred birds it seems took flight, they were hiding in a small snow draped tree; it was a wonderous and special sight, such delight to see those birds filled with glee ! I would make snow angels as a young child, and ice skate on a homemade frozen pond; as my parents and grandma watched and smiled, born in a snowstorm so this the love bond ! Love your sonnet form, Constance. Great rhyming, sprinkled with alliteration from time to time. A sonnet most fine. Also reminds me of childhood fun in Ohio, U.S.A. and playing hockey on the frozen pond behind our house with neighborhood friends. Thanks for sharing, it should do well in the contest.
