Your first two lines are my favorite. I love Van Gogh's artwork. I use to teach my kindergartners this poem: Tangerines, apricots marmalade jelly, all orange foods that go into my belly. Your poem Caren is pretty, bright and sunny. It made me smile while bringing back a nice memory.

I hold orange in high regard (although I must admit that green and white are my favorites, with blue close behind.) I am fascinated by the sound of the color and by the fact that it names a sweet and juicy fruit, making it a very worthy favorite. Your post adds to my appreciation of its richness; thank you!
