Lord, I often open the ornate gates of the cemetery, and walk the long winding road to his tomb; always I bring him flowers and stay with him awhile, and I always ask you why Lord, why did you take him. oh, Lord give me the strength to go on without my love, you know that I put all my faith in you and believe; but I am so weak and full of fear, help me overcome this, the dagger stabs my heart every single day, every day. The common theme and done well , very well, Constance. I am at a loss how to do my prayer poem. Too many already entered and I , with no time to think!!

Very touching prayer, the answer why is simple. God does not kill and take away our loved ones, that is a false teaching that paints God cruel and turns humans away from him and his love. Accidents happen it is not fate or destiny, that's why they are called accidents.God gives us true hope in the resurrection. If he want's more angels in heaven he can create more, he doesn't need to take our loved ones away.Peace to you Constance.

Very sad heartfelt prayer. I'm definitely no minister but I was always told when the Lord takes something from us, he always replaces it with something else. Maybe for you, it was your faith?

Searching for the peace in a painful situation, seeking the creator who can take away the hurt, but you need the answer to your why...I completely understand. This is a heartfelt read.
