Amidst my imperfections and flaws You accepted me without second thought Months passed by, I got blind To a gentleman, seeminly kind Wooed and kindled me to be love Yet, all he want is to play and rob Rob me not of fame and richness But of pure true loveliness Deep open wound he had created No pain drugs can't alleviate Sleepless nights, he had caused Being honest and true, this the end cost? Hurt lurking, I distinguish Makes me cry in anguish Along this part blood flows sluggish Reality bites not a rubbish Anyhow, I will keep moving I will not stop loving I will not stop caring For who am I, if I do not love... Great poem, well written. It is not fun to be hurt, but to keep going is a great thing,for who am i if i dont love, i love that line.
