He loves me a little. He loves me
A lot. He loves me passionately.
He loves me to madness. He loves me
not…
He loves her not. He loves her as a wolf
howls at a full moon. He loves her
with red and purple. He loves her with a kiss.
He loves her with a glance and a wish.
He’s plucking off petals, scattering them,
wanting to come to the end, not…he’s scared.
Love, like white ox-tears, trembles from his fingertips.
He loves me…
She loves me…
answer, a daisy
