Whispers of the dawn

In the quiet crimson corners of dawn, where whispers of wind weave through willows, I find you, my soul solace, Soft as a sigh, serene as the sea. Your eyes deep as dusk’s descent, draw me into their tender tides, where love’s luminescence lingers, lightening the labyrinth of my longing. We dance in the delicate dusk, where moonlight melts into murmurs, and our hearts, harmonious harbors, hold secrets only the stars can see. With each breath, a brush of bliss, we wander through wonder. Woven together in whispered wishes, waking the world with our wonderous love. Here, in the heart’s hallowed halls, every echo is an embrace, every moment a melody, and every touch timeless. You are the quiet quiver of the quasar. The gentle glow in the galaxy’s gaze. A symphony in the stillness, singing sweetly forever.

Dear Sean, the romance of your poem is ravishing! I especially enjoyed "Soft as a sigh, serene as the sea" and "You are the quiet quiver of the quasar" - wow! Potent, pulsing poetry. Every stanza is stunning where precious moments of passion are expressed, embraced and savored. Congratulations for your win in Charlotte's contest. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

this is what i'd call a classically written romantic poem, it's lovely, especially that ending..there's a lot of alliteration, which works, but i would advise try not to alliterate every single line..maybe the poem doesn't say anything new to me, but it's so romantic i just had to give it a placement, it makes me go "ahhh' lol congrats on your win in my contest

Thank you for rating my poem highly. You are right about the alliteration. Truth be told, I wrote this for Tom Woody's contest but missed the cut-off. Somehow glad I did cause it found a good placement in your contest.
