Where Sorrow Met Happiness
I walked into a junction where
sorrow met happiness,
a turning point when pain was
relieved by daydreams of who
I always believed I could be
I reached the intersection where
life shared a reunion with hope-
looking back,
all the hard times turned simple,
joy was found in the letting go
of past transgressions
I moved on with ease-
believing my future will always
begin where the regret ended;
and in that realization…
I FINALLY BECAME ME AGAIN
