...I love your Texas Charlie :-) one of my all-time favourite states to visit. I have seen some of the most gorgeous sunsets and sunrises there and I am not a morning person... in Texas I sure am though :-) blessings, lynn

Well sir, I remember your comment on my one liner where you mentioned you had visited nearly every bayou in Louisiana and how kind and generous the people are and I would have to say the same for Texans...This is an EXTREMELY clever and well put depiction of your Lone Star State...Hearty congrats - Tim

The only difference is the food and I believe you got us beat my friend...about all we can brag about is bar-b-que, steaks and Tex-mex, and that won't hold a candle to the great seafood and wonderful French coon ass cooking I've found all over your stare. Thank you for the note...Best wishes

I once lived in Brownsville, a wonderful city and state although a bit on the windy side.

Perspective. Amarillo is closer to Canada than it is to Brownsville. El Paso is closer to LA than it is to Texarkana. That kinda gives you a feeling for how big Texas really is...
