Where I am today
The paths are petal shrewn
Dandelion clocks abundantly beautiful as they are not in my garden
My thoughts simple and uncomplicated
The dog met some piglets, both animals curious
As the Harris Hawk swung nearby deep or absent of thought
I hear the aeroplanes taxi and have no desire to be on them
Saw a lone ladybird and my eyes received it the same as if it were 1986
There is dew on the grass, perhaps it gathers to quench the thirst of fairies
I told the dog that if you held a buttercup under his chin I could tell if he liked butter - he exuded tolerance as a response, which I adore in a walking companion :)
On this final stretch are the back garden fences
With snippets of lives pouring out into a Spring day
And my life, anywhere I care to take my feet and thoughts
