When To Let Go

Is life’s lament meant, To stay like set cement. Or simply drift away, Like any passing day? How can, I be sure? Just how much to endure? Before I let it go, And let the future flow. With a silent moment’s thought, Of things I once was taught. And calm and peace is caught, But only as it’s bought, With reverent intent, remorse is duly spent. Repent, repent, live on with good intent.

Writing sonnets is your forte. I appreciate how beautifully this particular sonnet is woven. Life has laments for every one of us; the healthy thing to do is to let them go. Thanks for sharing.
