David, yes good dreams are nice to hold on to. I'm with you on having a good feeling (slightly manic). I don't know many people who have it, but once we do I think we realize we'll not let anyone rob it from us. Not easy to keep it and I congratulate you for getting to this point. It reflects a mature and compassionate individual--not a fake feeling that comes from a cult membership. Smiles!!!

Thanks Duke, wise words; indeed we can never let anyone steal our dreams regardless if they are in our subconscious or conscious, how I got to this point in my was by listening to my inner self and taking one day at a time, No fake cults for me, cheers David

Thanks so much Seeker; From the fake dream I don’t want to wake from, I mostly wake up into what’s perceived as conscious reality, that feels persistently real, and my respite is over lol! Cheers David

God help the one who pinches me. I know the feeling, David. Sometimes, when things are going so well, I wonder, OK, when is the shoe to fall. Dreams, an escape? Prophesy? Something one ate?~ always a mystery.

Thanks Joe, wise words! I think we can all relate to, (don’t wake me up dreams) are very rare indeed, and where they come from is anyone’s guess, I often ponder if eventually the technology will become available to design our own dreams, or maybe I’m still dreaming lol! Cheers David

Dear David, This is different and so well delivered! Iv actually had those dreams, waking up felt like a bummer , some dreams we want to dream again and again, when its too real. And sometimes when things too feel like they are too good to be true, we tend to want to stay there amidst the questions that linger within. Pleasure reading your monoku! You did well! Best wishes! Sending you light always

Ah yes! That’s exactly the type of dream I had in mind, the one we just don’t want to end, even if it is too good to be true, the subconscious can be very cruel giving us only fleeting moments of ecstasy, before snapping us back into a harsh day of reality, thanks for stopping by Ink, and of course the light is always welcome, cheers David

Your emotions blossom in full and glorious bloom and that's an understatement as I do not possess the words to anoint your masterful musings. GL, David! Cheers

Heya Anne-Lise, they certainly don’t come often enough, that’s why we must snug up when they happen, even if we know deep down we are only dreaming,

Hi, David. I don't think I've ever heard a dream referred to as 'snug' but it fits so well! Snug under covers in bed... snuggled next to a loved one. What better place to dream a good dream and never want to wake.

Heya Lin, I got the (snug) idea from the prompt of being (wrapped) and like you said, snug under the covers or snuggled next to a loved one does the job, and if the dream is so good, why indeed would you ever want to wake, life is all about our state of mind at any given moment, conscious or unconscious will do me once its ecstatic, cheers David
