What Is Real

I want to taste you again., is that such a sin? Should I hang my head in shame? Will the gates of hell call out the role.. and in list therein find my name? Then let it be so. I've forgotten what it feels like to feel. Let my flesh, our flesh..,decide the difference finally... what is fake and what is real.

A knotty philosophical question which Descartes attempted to answer with some definity: Cogito ergo sum (Je pense donc je suis), I think therefore I am. Or are we simply an organism experiencing stimuli? Thanks for stopping by. / M

"I have forgotten what it feels like to feel" - if I had a dollar for every time I heard this line I would have about eleven dollars. Fake and real are taking on new meanings. Thanks for pointing this out.

David, You are very intuitive, Soup is good food for what ails you. Some damn fine writers here too. If you happen to see Helen Reddy tell her I'm still a fan and always will be. -Richard

Jan, So what your essentially saying is...okay here goes. Jan, I need you and always have. I won't waste another day living this way. Without the sound of your rushing heartbeat so close to mine. I can't live without knowing you will be okay. If not, say the word and I'll go away. Heehee....! -Richard

Not a sin at all, Richard--that is the power of longing--you raise those doubts relationships face.
