What I Want
I want to hear sweet nothings
give silent feelings a voice.
And I want you to love me,
show me that you're here by choice.
I want us to survive storms,
strengthened by our tears and pain.
And I want what we once had,
sharing our feelings again.
I want to be thoroughly
intertwined, body and soul.
And I want to skip the past,
for the future is our goal.
I want memories, not dreams,
on our list of things to do.
And I want to feel alive;
but most of all, I want you.
