What a Difference a Day Makes
sun hidden
the sky about to cry
what a difference a day makes
time keeps moving by
our grass has turned to yellow
leaves, disappearing in the breeze
fingers, jingle with the dew drops
crushed, roads ruined with too much ease
remembering, missed laughs in the mist
that April morn, feelings torn
coming, going, smiles showing
your face, that place, love was born
but now the willows bend, with no end
whispers quiet and splinters speak
lost that song, the will to be strong
falling softly in the meadow, so weak
hidden now the sun
I'm about to cry
what a difference a day makes
with angels in the sky
