We Are God's Workmanship

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” Ecclesiastes 9:10
Inspect these words in proper context from the whole of Ecclesiastes. When “all is vanity”, what comes next? “Excess” say the enthusiast-ees. “Eat, drink, and be merry.” - Yet we lose truth when pleasure we strive to achieve. Enjoy life as a gift from God to use for His outcomes which man can’t unweave. Read Solomon, he ends with this plea “Fear God and keep all His commandments.” Remember, God is the judge and see in the grave we’ll find no recompense. Where His wisdom and strength have been compromised, our labor profits nothing; God is not glorified.
