Wave Upon Wave
White cotton fields erupting
bits and pieces left in trail
flickers of light mirrored along side
liquid beads slipping off slopes
aromas eclipsing scars in my mind
drowning in lavender swirls of summer
Wave upon wave upon wave
splashed down in desire
biding my time just
waiting to feed your fire
Soft sounds of Beth echo
in the background and I know
washed up the silent moments
are going to gloriously come
to an intertwined end
