"Not all who wander are lost "
Quote by _J.R.R. Tolkien
I am a rolling stone adrift,
my life like a flowing river;
the journey a labyrinthine maze that I tread.
Wandering, not lost,
and I am but a trembling flame;
just a speck on the wheel of time.
Mom's kitchen like a holy place,
where memories come as a dream;
and I hold the pain of many deaths in my mind.
Wandering, not lost,
and winds wail like violins;
and I still drink from the blue sky.
Strength and courage are my clothing,
the ultimate prize will be peace;
the long way sinuous as I travel unanchored.
Wandering, not lost,
afloat in a deep cobalt sea;
I crash to shore on white waves.
I have found my serenity,
in the misty veiled haze of life;
steamy as a terrarium the graves stone cold.
Wandering, not lost,
clouds above like gauzy curtains;
I walk into the setting sun.
