Life is like flowers in a vase.
Everything is in place.
If you live long enough
winds gust,
waters rise,
land shakes,
and glass vases shatter
into a million pieces,
strewn everywhere.
You'll never find every piece
of what you used to be.
But even if you could,
would you glue it all together
and be mangled from every angle,
forever?
To live this life one must begin
when something ends.
Sweep the pieces into a dustpan.
Start a new day with a bouquet
in another vase.
