Valentine's

Sometimes straightforward is the best...and too artificial all the rest: If you say azure sky one more time I’ll beat your poem with erasers and white-out: The sky is blue whether old or new-- to differ not by structure nor word; and no matter how often heard, still blue called by any-another only absurd-- the sky is blue the sea is blue the heart can be blue By the way… it’s Valentine’s and regardless how often said and echoed, for my mind’s sake (not excluding my heart, erasers and white-out) (straightforward) please start with I Love You….

Hi Harry; straightforward is the best sometimes. Contrary to some thought, I think love can get lost in the words and rituals. Balance is the key...for everything in life. Unfortunately, it has taken me over 70 years to begin to learn the art:) Thank you for stopping by and encouraging my writing. Have a great day!!

If you start with, "I love you," you're a winner, and the sky will embrace you with warmth-of-blue no matter what you call it:)) Thank you, Andrea. Blessings my friend!

I apologize in advance to all "Azure" users--addicted myself at times, no treatment necessary:) Of course, almost the entire poem is minutia--written that way on purpose, to restore the purity and simple, unadulterated, beauty of the last, and only sincere line in the poem: "I love you."
