Valentine Preview

It's Valentine’s
think hearts and
roses she said --

roses she prefers
so like herself

her own gracefulness
enticing petal scent --

the blossoms she adores --

think of rapturous nights
and Roman Candle dawns
such passion as hers never
seemed to need break --

entrancing patterns of fine drape
silk dappled with sunlight
beams of arousing romantic kneading
a second heedless amorous skin duplicating
transposing quixotic embroideries
of desire and forever --
like Salome she revealed all of her
beguiling fond nakedness
making instant jello of
my rational mind -- I will never
forget...vowed we would never forget!

Damn, where was that?

and who the hell was
I with?

Oh to be young and divinely foolish again!

Dead joe, this is so beautiful and so well written, the descriptive nature of your imagery and how your words flow so seamlessly is impressive, i love the ending, its like waking up from a beautiful dream where youve described as “ entrancing patterns of fine drape silk dappled with sunlight beams of arousing romantic kneading ” how stunning! Exquisitely delivered! Pleasure reading this. Its almost valentines day. Sending you light today and always

Hi Joe;) Good way to start the morning. I think, when God needs something done, and chooses you (really we have no way of declining), he gives some an extra hard head, knowing in advance the temptations and barbs the enemy will throw at us. He knows our weakness and strengths, having given us both for our spiritual enlightenment. "If not for the grace of God...." God is always in control. Blessings my friend.

Sometimes, it must be a past memory tickling you or just a reverie or a sweet dream. Why can't it be a slice of life from the present?! However and what so ever, very romantic and sensuous. Enjoyed it, dear Joe.

And to you also, Paula, happy early Valentine's day. I hear you...but young and foolish go together. No getting away from it. Maybe instead of harboring regret, we should just settle for forgiving self and others. The true manifestation of love. Don't know that we are ever wise enough...I always say: "If not for the grace of God...!" --
