Up In the Autumn Air

An orange leaf tinged yellow-gold am I - twirled happily up in the autumn air with comrade leaves. I dance beneath blue sky. An orange leaf tinged yellow-gold am I. Above - a sleek black white-tailed bird glides by! Below me, all the earth is bright and fair. An orange leaf tinged yellow-gold am I - twirled happily up in the autumn air.

Enjoyed reading your very descriptive work..Reads like a winner for Russell's contest..Thanks for stopping by..My poem first try at Gogyohka was not for a contest for I have no idea if that is what one should be like..I just jotted a note down when that happened to me and thought I could use it in a poem..Have a great afternoon..Sara

Very beautiful descriptions; I can really see the whole scenery with all the colors. Makes one feel happy to live and appreciate God's blessings every day, in spite of anything that goes wrong. Cheer up, everybody! Thank you, Andrea and best wishes for the contest! Here's a winner, for me, anyway! Love, Hanitra

Dust to dust, we are alive. A bird, a leaf in elegant dive. With autumn air, we come alive. Any shape or form just to survive.
