Untitled Sonnet

Untitled Sonnet I sat lost in deep thought to write today, memories flooding an old poet's mind. So little time, so important words to say hoping to be hopeful, helpful and kind! My muse, she went sailing around the world, often for me that is a pure delight. In my tired old mind words are now swirled, yet my inner spirit longs to fight. Do I write of past loves and desperate lies, heartache eating away cold hard stone? Or perhaps better, of brightest sunny skies, that warm this surging heart to the bone! Ah, too many words invade this weary mind. Off to sleep and write in dreams I often rewind. Robert J. Also thinking title should reflect past and present case..
