Unrequited Love

My Pen Drips Of Sorrow And On This Paper, I Write Each Tear. He never told her of the love, He held within his heart. Though he knew she longed to hear it, He just could not impart, The feelings that he had for her, Although she was his bride. It seemed to her that if he cared, His love he would not hide; And so it went through all their years, They drifted slow apart, Lonely, sad and unfulfilled, They each had broken hearts. Yes I understand Judy, for Tiger would not leave my side for three days previous his departure, and also want to be touching me in some way. He would lean against my leg continuously.

I love this sad verse Judy, you describe so well how lack of communication can destroy a relationship. When I was little, the motto was "be seen and not heard" so I was one who had that lack but thankfully, I've been working on it.

That is a sad write Judy. It ended with broken hearts and I sometimes wonder why people cannot say I love you very easily. Enjoyed this poem Judy. A nice hot day today. My neighbors just bought a town house in Airderie . Lived here for 37 years and now moved to your wonderful city. love phyl
