Universal Consciousness
I believe in divine mind, always present
Sometimes called universal consciousness,
Awareness of a Higher Power in the moment
Some may call it ever available righteousness.
I prefer to think it as the source of all good
Prevailing in most human beings dominant.
Consider a microcosm of it in brotherhood
In a vast majority of spirits always evident.
It is also the source of divine power and light
As Scriptures say, “In Him there is no darkness”
From divine presence we gain valuable insight
And, it is in eternal presence we rightly confess.
Then contentment comes, as surely as the twilight
With voices of love and peace a desired highlight.
