Under the Red Umbrella
I recall the red umbrella,
and your arms wrapped around me;
the rain fell but I was cozy in your arms so strong.
You had taken us to Paris and I felt like Cinderella,
with prince charming- and our dog Tea;
we walked past shops and cafes on streets long,
and you softly sang me our love song.
Then, we had stopped and you held me in a kiss.
the street was empty as the rain fell, fell, fell;
I leaned into you wanting to become part.
You were my true blue love and my forever bliss,
under this umbrella with you I wanted to ever dwell;
with your beating heart on my beating heart,
oh, this scene would make nice art.
