When A Man Loves A Woman When I call you my dear- you come to me, Each time without delay I feel your love; I want to hold this love forever see, Today, tomorrow- sweetheart stars above. Then, I am lost in labyrinths dark, deep, And searching darling always angel mine; I hear you cry, from faraway you weep, Come love- let me hold you, let us entwine. Then, I feel you so close- my wish to kiss, Oh kiss, your red lips sweet and lovely; Hold you to my heart bleeding, needing bliss, Meet me under the tree my dear, trust me. But darling please, do not bring me roses, To lay upon my tomb- no red posies. When A Woman Loves A Man When I hear you- your love calling to me, I must journey to you without delay; To feel your sweet embrace, your face to see, This love that death could not destroy, betray. Then, I find you- you wait for me always, So I close my sad eyes and we embrace; I see your face in mist, in clouds for days, Asking God why- but it is silent space. Then, we are kissing deep in my sweet dream, Love you, love you till my last breath, last day; Sometimes, I am so sad, so lost, I scream, I scream for you, for what we had, I pray. And still I come to you without red roses, but lay on your tomb those bright red posies. _______________________________________ December 5, 2016 Poetry/Sonnet/Two English Sonnets Copyright Protected, ID 16-855-526-0 All Rights Reserved.
