The twilight's serenity will echo
when waning soft sunlight renders the sky
I have come to rest in this meadow
and welcome the lightning bugs as they fly
my eyes find peace with the rise of the moon
to stir an enchantment within my heart
the twilight sky turns a mystic maroon
when the earth ends, the horizon depart
I'll sit here in wonder with Twilight's calm
breathe in deeply to remove tension's sheen
smell the scent of the aromatic balm
streaming toward me from beyond what's seen
the serenity of twilight I sought
moments of reflection is what I got
