Twenty-Third Psalm In Senryu Form

Lord is my shepherd He’s with me. I have no want Always forever I am in pastures Verdant green with cool waters Beside the stillness God shall protect me When I walk through death’s shadow He shall be my guide At this large table He anoints my head with oil My cup runs over Goodness follows me All of the days of my life In my Good Lord’s house.

I love this. Years ago I wrote my own translation of The 23rd Psalm from the King James version. I will have to see if I can find it. Thank you for this lovely rendition. Love, Deb

I like it! I like it a lot! Quite creative, personal and inspiring to read. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comments on "Revelation". Thanks for bringing up my mistake. The 2nd line of a cinquain has to be 4 syllables, so I changed "emerges" to "surges". :) Caroline.
