Twenty-five Miles

Just like Edwin Starr, I have a long walk ahead of me. A person needs strong and sturdy feet to walk twenty-five miles. Walking will all be worth it because my woman waits at the end. Robert Pettit for Nette Onclaud’s “On Your Feet” contest.

Heya Robert. This sijo is well written - you pulled off the 'moment' or twist in the 3rd line, just as one should with this form. Best wishes in Nette's contest with this enjoyable premise and read.
