In memory of Suzanne

Turning back time to childhood days, through the twisted months and years maze; to when my sister and I played, with our dolls in the day's shade; her early death left life a haze. I go and at her stone name gaze, in a green pretty place she lays; I wonder - what if she had stayed, turning back time. Deep in my heart she always stays, she would have grown up to amaze; love of my sister will not fade, our love bond never betrayed; picture- this girl weep as she prays, turning back time. _________________________ August 3, 2018 Poetry/Rondeau/Turning Back Time Copyright Protected, ID 18-1048-275-01 All Rights Reserved. Lovely, but so very sad.. If we could just turn the clock back and spend more time with their loved ones , what a blessing. Hugs Eve
