Truth or Consequences How can things seem completely right, Yet be so completely wrong? How can circumstances make you feel whole and complete, Yet is not really what you should want? God allows people in our lives for a reason, Some teach, share, care, love, leave indelible impressions on our hearts and pray! Others lead down different darker paths. Some know us better than we know ourselves. Due to having had the same experiences. Some can sense when things are not quite right, God has given them a gift to know when to pray ceaselessly. Some make us think and define what we should believe, Due to having found their answer to their life’s questions. Others infuriate us to jump start the thinking processes, When we have ignored the warning sign and failed to Think. We jump headlong into trouble selfishly, But have forgotten the consequences. What would you rather have the trouble And then face the consequences? Or forget the troubled times And trust the Lord’s protective leading? Christine Stout
