I think myself a fairly comely bird, once pleasing to male eyes who called me “phat.” “Trust me, Babe, this is love,” I’ve never heard. Would I believe a guy who spoke like that? “Trust me Baby this is love,” take with salt. Some people like to say good things for sound. So, if they have to say it, there’s a fault. You’re sure to recognize love when it’s found. In life, all things occur by God’s great plan. Two souls meet up and love is soon begun. Perhaps one day true love will take my hand, and I will know I've found my chosen one. He’ll whisper in my ear and gently say, “Let me show how much I love you each day.” 6/25/17 Trust Me Baby This Is Love Sponsored by: Mystic Rose

Janis, when I think of this phrase it reminds me of a Barry White song, if that has any meaning to you. He had a very deep, what I think most women would consider, very seductive voice and that is what I think the phrase is, seduction. I love your ingenuous take on the insincere nature of a guy who would say this.

Yes, Daniel, they sound like come on words to me. You are a man, you know.
