Tranquility
When in verdant valleys or in verdure environs
When basking in birds, beauteous flowers, fruits
When in sunrise and sunsets splendid splendour you delight
Then despite sounds in surrounds you feel serene
When your faith in the lord is firm
When you feel all happenings as gift of God
When you fathom father cannot falter
When you sense agape love every moment
When you feel grateful for his graciousness
Then you feel peaceful
When you do your duty with dedication
When you consciously obey conscience
When you follow scriptures sincerely
When you comprehend God in all, love all
Then you feel tranquil
When pursuing passions that promote inner joy
When sitting in meditation, mindlessly
When playing with kids, becoming one among them
When thoughts are not taking a toll on you
Then you feel placid
When you hold positive perception
When you resolve to be euphoric every moment
When you laugh and smile for no reason
When you are equanimous in all situation
Then your mind is still
When mind is positioned in present
When senses are perceiving objects in surrounds
When living at the moment, not allowing it to slip by
Then despite problems, you are quiet
When you realise everything is ephemeral,
When the veil of delusion is removed from vision
When you perceive self as soul
When you discern both body and soul as parts of God
When by God's grace you are gifted the vision of soul,
When you experience ecstasy of salvation
Then you become eternally calm
