Torrenting Memories
There I stood. Near the edge of a cliff overlooking a cascading waterfall.
Only it wasn't water flowing over the point of no return.
They were my memories in a simpler form.
So, there I sat.
catching parts of my life.
Memories forgotten, memories cherished, memories locked away.
I laughed at that one time, I blushed at another.
I remember you, and you.
After sometime, something then happened that I didn't expect.
There was no more water, no more memories.
So, there I walked.
Over to the edge.
As I looked over the edge a smile overcame my face.
What did I see you ask.
Well while I was watching my life go over the edge.
I was actually just watching my life fall into place, ever so perfectly.
