Tomorrow
now is now
lockdown lockup
covid19 is all around
black lives matter
that is the sound
but why so much carnage
a pound for a pound
tomatoes carrot 'n eggs
the car's in the drivaway
been there since friday
look around you
what do you see?
humans running around
the cat's on the table
english is a funny language
ham and cheese sandwich
off you go
you're already late
the dog is smiling i'm sure
the store is closed
i just need but a en hose
who cares about you
just you
try up your shoelace
and off we go
to another land
as fast as we can
the meals in the oven
should be ready by seven
the night falls
from the sky
and no-one is askin' why
what do they care
she mus'nt wet her hair
the cow is full of milk
the barn is falling down
open you eyes
shake off the flies
the sky is blue
and the ocean too
what's it all mean
and what does it matter
he is just a mad hatter
bend your knee
fold your arm
accept what is your's
accept what is their's
the grass is green
like nothing i've ever see
so you've been there
but you didn't share
boy, that is one fifthy bear
a saving box over there
a fish is swimming in the river
so cold it makes me shiver.
what is good
what is bad
oh don't look so sad
there's a bird on the wire
don't set the bush on fire
if you could change
with some joy and some sorrow
it is tomorrow
