Today -

Moments mingled and merged,

into a messy masterpiece

Aware -

Pastel thoughts and patience,

were pieced together with prayers

. . Creating hours of calm . .

Tomorrow -

Tenderness will tangle around time,

teaching me to appreciate today

Brandy, my niece is named Brandy too, but her words aren't as profound. I don't know if I should ride raging rivers in a kayak, or relax all day in a hammock with a good book and a cool beverage. Maybe I'll get around to both. Thanks for the advice.

Indeed, this is excellent use of alliteration, Brandy, but apart from that it is the theme that makes us pause, think and meditate. Often we fail to appreciate the good things in life and on the contrary concentrate too much on the negatives. ~ Warm regards & hugs, my friend // paul

You are so adept in alliterative verse, dear Brandy! This is a lovely piece. Life may be messy. Still if we think of the blessings that surround, we have greater reason to stay content.
