Today - Again
If you
were gifted this
day again, what more
would you do with it? How
many words would be not spoken,
or deeds left wholly undone - if for once
afforded the opportunity, how different could it
be for those with whom you connect, to replay the game
of yesterday and plan the minute menu of today. Would it bear
any resemblance to past days still remembered? Alas, this
gift cannot be given as the day is gone and done. Give
thanks, then, for the rare gift of tomorrow. Where
would you begin again, even if you had no
recall of the events that shaped it?
If all you knew was what you
could see in the lives of
those who are dear
to you; would
it be just
another
day?
