After days weeks and years Of trying to outrun the clock What does life really add up to If we haven’t taken the time to live Time can be Hours or fractions of seconds It can be the difference between Acknowledging or sharing The pain in someone’s heart The difference between Being in or enjoying Someone’s company The difference between Knowing or caring For someone Happiness comes to those who know How to appreciate The value of time By truly living every one Of life’s moments AP: 3rd place 2020 Posted on July 8, 2018
