I wish sometimes I could be young again Without the cares and burdens that I lug How grand to live it over, way-back-when But then I'd never have my kids to hug I wish that I could bring an end to death But life would not be precious anymore And everything we value breath-to-breath Is made so by the things that we abhor I dream about what three wishes could bring But I might wish away all I've been through And tho' I've erred, I wouldn't change a thing So I think I'll give my wishes ... all to you!

Such a thoughtful "three wishes." No shallow thinking here.

So true - we are ourselves because of our pasts, both good and bad, and life is valuable because it is finite -

Very much, so, Michelle ... there is a balance to the Universe, and without the negative things - the "bad" things - there would be no value to anything, and life would be an endless, apathetic existence. That said, it would be nice if we could choose when we've had "enough", lol. Blessings, my friend! ;-) <3
