My first try at Joke Free Verse Poetry better known as Funny Other.

Bare with me, my nickname is Sugar Bear.

This may be light poetry, I sure don't know;

I was one of the three poets in the woods. lol

Did you hear the one about the three poets that went walking in the woods? They bumped into each other at the fork in the woods. None of them knew which way to go. (They should have all taken that path less taken I think) So, they sat down together and wrote a long collaborative poem.

This has given me a great chuckle. It is a great idea.... writing a collaborative poem sitting in the forest. But do you mean to say that people turn to poetry when they lose their path??

You made me giggle, Valsa. lol No, I'm saying if your lost, you might as well write about with those around you; so why not write a poem together. :-) Thanks for the comic relief, my friend; I needed a laugh today. Bill

Ha ha. Writing a collaborative poem after not taking path less taken. Little satire there.

Your poem brought a smile Bill. To add to your story: A fourth poet broke down on the road less traveled and sadly was never found again. He did have time to write an awesome soliloquy. He titled it “May the Fourth be With You!”

When poets meet there is no knowing what the outcome will be, Bill! I am no fan of very long poems, but will willingly read one if I get the feeling the author is going to deliver. ~ Best regards // paul

I can be a bit verbose so I appreciate when people take time to read my poems.

A long collaborative poem, sounds great. What a creative write this is. Its surely a fun light read. And i enjoyed reading it. Especially “ they bumped into each other didnt know which way to go” hah thats funny. The path less taken yes may be better which is, i wonder what? Journey of poets, is always interesting, never a planned one. Loved reading and seeing this side of you too.

I'm full of surprises, Ink. I used to be quite funny and a fun guy to be around. Aging has brought on a bout of serious thoughts lately. Thanks for the visit and comments, my friend. Have a great week! Bill

Although guilty of it at times, Bill, I concur about long poems. If I have the choice of reading a poem brief and to the point or one that goes forever, I will choose the short one that doesn't get read much. Food for thought Bill... enjoyed, Cheers from your mate from OZ. (tralia that is).SV
