This Space
The sun came out!
Just as my heart leapt through the leaves,
Left over from last fall, when it was interrupted
The sun left again!
Undecided, after all these days of rain and gray
Seasons flash by, like floods in the street
Then linger long, like the puddles left behind
How can one know what may happen next?
Walking the shining pavement, as it turns dry
What was once showing, is suddenly gone
But this space, still holds my footsteps
