I’m driftwood, and I’m floating out to sea as sun descends upon my home - the grove of trees whose fragrance still remains with me. And likewise, heaven’s work of art, a mauve surrounding me, now permeates my soul. Warm water, in the twilight growing cold, is rocking me. Beneath dark blue, a shoal moves swiftly; overhead there will unfold the myriad of stars in semblance of a giant carousel in dimming sky. Those stars that glitter for the grove I love will glitter too for me, where here I lie alone, enraptured. . . and I think I might drift evermore, enveloped by this night.

Wow, 30 pages! Impressive. I chose the very first sonnet on purpose. In my opinion, this is the best form for a poet to demonstrate his skill level. You were already a high-level poet when you joined PS. It's obvious. And enjambements, for sure)

This poem, like your others, is rich in imagery. But also like many of your others, it excels in creative word usage; i.e., "a giant carousel in dimming sky." Finally, it demands the reader's attention (a "think piece"). Beautiful work, Andrea. I wish I had written it. Hugs.

Your first Poetry Soup Sonnet was for a Chan competition. Wow, the history. I came to ask if you had ever put your 400 odd sonnets in a compilation? But gosh I didn't expect to see the history in this piece. Wow... An amazing poem, the first few lines blew me away. I really dig our metaphor. Oh and; a sonnet can be written in this form, huh?

WOW, like a Shakespearean sonnet. This is better than anything people who put up blogs complaining about lists can write. I Love how talented you are Andrea. You are brilliant.
