This Cat's Clearly Different
There's a cat I know
sits at a table
Napkin 'round her neck
knife and fork in tow
She sleeps in a bed
demands satin sheets
Without a canopy overhead
her night's not complete
This cat's clearly different
but is she all that special
Not really, you say --
OK. Here's what's extra-terrestrial
She climbs up on the toilet
with utmost care sniffs around
Then she presses the lever
FLUSH! with great fanfare and sound
No big deal, you say
that she doesn't use a litter
Well -- ha, ha -- the problem is
she's not a toilet-seat sitter
After she flushes, she goes all over the floor
then claws toilet paper into dozens of pieces
or more --
Yellow streaks everywhere
She marches, tail high, right out the door
So refined when dining and going to sleep
This cat's bathroom etiquette is that of a sheep --
I always thought I'd have to live 'till a hundred and thirty
to see a cat leave a room filthy and dirty!
