These Three Things I Am Thankful For
I have found beauty in the form of astounding gratitude.
My daughter Ella Rose knows a mother’s love and adoration.
For she is the reason for my absolute God-given creation,
And with her I drown in the marvel of gladdened pulchritude.
Those memories of my sister ‘fore she died I shall appreciate.
For she brought so much kindness to the world with ease.
When I pray for all my sadness and regretful shame to cease,
I know being grateful for her laughter will always alleviate.
My trustworthy husband is loyal, and to me so venerated.
He is one in a trillion on earth and I shall always be satisfied
with his love and passion; I am truly completely gratified.
I fold my hands in prayer, thanking God for being dedicated.
