There Are Times

There are times when we get down and out,                     a helping hand or word is needed.                                  Hold the door,                                                                 help with packages.                                                       When the words will not come,                                       send a pretty card with cheer.                                         It will brighten your day up for sending it,                       it will brighten their day up for receiving it.                       An encouraging smile could be all someone needs, you could just make their day.                                         To give love is to love,                                                     after all love is free and fulfilling.                                     We may never know how a helping hand or word,         changed a life forever.
